Playing Still Snake

Start, turn, pause, repeat.

On Home, choose Classic or Snake II, pick a speed, then tap Play. Tap Start on the game screen to begin. Your snake starts moving to the right.

With D-pad controls off, swipe in the direction you want to turn anywhere across the gameplay screen, including outside the board. Keep your turns ahead of the snake. You cannot turn directly back into yourself.

Tap Pause to take a break. When you’re ready, tap Keep going to resume. After a game ends, you can play again or return Home.

Prefer buttons?

Enable the D-pad in Settings. Tap a direction on the pad to turn. Enabling the D-pad turns off swipe movement. In wide layouts, you can choose left or right placement in Settings; in portrait, the pad sits at the bottom.

What’s different about the modes?

Classic has solid boundaries. Avoid the wall and your own body. Snake II wraps at the edges: leave one side and return on the opposite side. Snake II also lets you select maze obstacles, including a No Maze option.

Ad removal & purchases

What does Remove Ads include?

Both modes are fully playable for free. The optional permanent Remove Ads purchase removes all advertising and its reserved layout space. It does not unlock gameplay, reset a game, or change your records and preferences.

The US price is $4.99, paid once. Prices vary by storefront; the app displays Apple’s actual localized price before you buy. There is no recurring charge for this permanent purchase.

How do I buy or restore it?

Choose Play without ads on Home or Remove Ads in Settings. To recover an existing purchase, select Restore Purchases while connected to the internet and using the same Apple Account that made the purchase. See Apple’s purchase-restoration guidance.

My purchase isn’t recognized.

1. Check that you are signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase and have an internet connection.
2. Open the ad removal screen and select Restore Purchases. Allow Apple’s purchase check to finish.
3. If necessary, close and reopen the app, then try Restore Purchases again.
4. If it still does not appear, email support with the message shown and your app version.

Keep the app installed while troubleshooting. Your records and preferences are stored locally, so deleting the app can remove them.

Payments and refunds

Apple handles payment and refund requests. Follow Apple’s instructions for requesting a refund. Eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law. A refund or revocation can remove the related ad-free entitlement.

Any valid existing purchase rights remain recognized according to their verified status. For more information, see Terms & purchases.

Playing offline

You can play both modes without an internet connection. An ad-removal purchase that the app has already verified can continue to work offline. Buying or restoring a purchase requires a connection to Apple.

The app receives updated purchase status when StoreKit can reach Apple, including any refund or revocation. Your scores and preferences stay on your device; there is no Still Snake account or online score sync.
